Richard left school and did mechanical and electrical engineering before becoming a graphic artist for a computer game company, where he first learnt to use Photoshop.

After he left the company he went back to University to complete a film degree and his work won awards for his filmmaking. Although he has always loved photography it was at university that it was developed.
Upon leaving University Richard started filming weddings and actor showreels, he also started taking pictures everywhere he went and in 2007 started photographing weddings and models for fashion portfolios.

After working in the photography industry for 7 years, in 2013 he opened up his first away from home studio and decided it would a great place to grow the business and help other fantastic photographers in the area do what they love, to take more pictures.

Richard also enjoys teaching photography, snowboarding and eats way to much chocolate…he also likes to change around the office frequently..
